Great Oak Litigation Support is a unique to industry, innovative and fast-growing litigation support firm.

We specialize in the quantification of insurance claims, including past and future loss of income, future cost of care calculations, vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, labour market analysis and Income Replacement Benefit calculations.

We are expanding and our office is seeking a self-motivated, career-driven Insurance Claims Advisor.

As an Insurance Claims Advisor you will work very closely with the injured clients to support them throughout their claim processes.

Responsibilities will include:

Liaising with insurance companies, policyholders and their representatives
Liasing with respective law firms representing the injured claimants
Gathering, assembling and verifying information and documentation from all available sources to endure a thorough compilation of facts required to complete the expert reports.
Communicating with the injured claimants to ensure they are familiar with all aspects of our services
Providing timely and regular status updates to clients
Meeting productivity objectives set by Great Oak Management
Staying current with applicable legislative and legal decisions
Preparing engagement proposals, work plans, time budgets and fee estimates

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum high school education or equivalent
Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Superior attention to detail and accuracy
Well organized, able to prioritize numerous tasks, and work on multiple assignments simultaneously
Proficient with Excel and Word
Ability to work both independently and also a consummate team player
Ability to meet time, budgets and deadlines
Enrolled in or completion of CIP designation an asset
Automobile insurance related experience an asset
