- Oversee all aspects of cash flow activities supporting McKesson Canada business units
- Lead the advancement of cash flow strategy across different groups
- Support the team in implementing effective strategies to maximize forecast accuracy and cash flow positioning
- Lead teams to monitor cash flow performance against budget
- Develop standards and metrics to measure financial performance and accuracy
- Communicate KPIs/metrics to senior leadership effectively
- Conduct financial analysis of M&A transactions
- Lead the due diligence process in collaboration with business units and financial partners
- Craft detailed diligence lists and internal memorandums
- Act as the Project Manager for M&A initiatives
- Analyze efficiency of new businesses and programs
- Act as a problem-solving partner to the business
- Lead the integration of financial processes for new businesses
- Ensure successful integration between departments/business units
- Facilitate communication within financial teams
- Oversee the CAR process and communicate risks and opportunities
- Challenge business cases for appropriate savings capture
- Evaluate short and long-term financial objectives

Job Summary
The Senior Director, Finance - Strategic Initiatives is tasked with developing, communicating, and leading financial analysis related to new strategic initiatives, mergers & acquisitions, and business development strategies. This role also involves overseeing the cash flow strategy of the organization to ensure objectives are met. The position requires guiding senior management as a valuable business partner in profitability analyses, cash flow, and capital investments, on both strategic and tactical levels. Responsibilities extend to all business units at McKesson Canada.
