  • 1. Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations for educational purposes
  • Supervise students in classroom, practicums, and labs
  • Evaluate students through the use of exams, assignments and observations
  • Record student progress through evaluations, student-instructor meetings, and observations
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and serve on ad hoc committees.
  • Attend seminars, workshops, etc. to keep current with industry and educational requirements.
  • Develop collegial relationships with external agencies to secure appropriate experience for students.- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

  • 1. Licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists; currently practicing
  • Two years recent/relevant experience in a hospital or community pharmacy
  • Demonstrates currency of practice and validation of aseptic compounding skills per the requirements of the regulatory authority within Saskatchewan
  • Effective communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Effective instructional ability
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity
