Position Details- Non-union - This position is permanent full time.
Key Accountabilities- Establish partnerships with leaders to develop a thorough understanding of business objectives and work plans, providing solutions to meet current, emerging, and future human resource needs.- Leads hiring initiatives that address talent gaps and support the development of a qualified, diverse and representative workforce. Proactively identifies and understands client needs and challenges, providing advice, expertise and creative approaches when problem solving.- Develops short-term and long-term business solutions and action plans that support the achievement of current and future objectives of SaskEnergy.- Maintains a strong focus on improving the client and employee experience through continuous improvement, remaining aware of emerging trends, key performance indicators and HR best practices.- Assumes an active role in HR projects to support the execution of the HR and SaskEnergy strategy and work plans.- Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with UNIFOR Local 649 as it relates to staffing and recruitment issues.- Promotes diversity awareness in hiring practices.- Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Degree in Human Resources Management;- Five (5) years of relevant and progressive HR experience with a strong understanding of HR functions.- Certified Human Resources Professional Designation. Knowledge of common human resources practices, employment laws and/or government compliance regulations that affect recruitment.- Ability to impact and influence employee engagement while building and maintaining effective relationships.- Results oriented and strategic thinker with the ability to negotiate and manage complex and confidential issues with extreme sensitivity and professionalism.- Valid driver's licence to effectively support some travel requirements.- Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.
