TutorBright is looking for an In-home Special Needs Tutor-Mentor

Experience of working with Verbal Autism/Non-verbal students is mandatory_


If you love to teach or have a passion for working with people,
TutorBright is offering positions as Tutor-Mentors of all specialties for students from K-12 and university courses.

This is a part-time employment opportunity that allows you to connect online with students and create your own schedule that meshes perfectly with your life and brings your passion for learning to your student's world.

We are looking for upper level Math and Science tutors who are enrolled or have completed schooling in any science faculty, engineering, pre-professional faculty, accounting or math related departments.


TutorBright has an influx of students looking for a strong mentor and role model to help work 1 on 1 to develop the same passion for academics you have. Students have not had the same access to quality learning due to online school and the Pandemic - join our team to help make meaningful impacts in these student's lives


At
TutorBright, we offer unparalleled support for you - the tutor - in terms of acquiring resources and strategies to use with their students.

TutorBright will provide you with lesson resources, 7-day a week office support, and all the tools you need for you and your students to be successful with us.


Hourly base rate for this student is 35$/h

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must have experience of working with Special Needs Students (
    verbal autism/nonverbal)
  • Must be able to work inhome (South Saskatoon)
  • Possess great communication skills
  • Consistent method of transportation
  • Current or willingness to get a vulnerable sector police check

Additional Assets:

  • ADS certification
  • Enrolled in / completed a Bachelor's program with good academic standing
  • Certified Teacher
