Description
As part of our continued growth, Nureva is seeking a
manager, operations to join our operations team. In this role you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of supply chain logistics in Nureva. You will manage a talented group of people to achieve the company goals.


You will

  • Manage contracts with suppliers
  • Manage staff that handle procurement, order entry, order fulfillment, logistics, and warehousing
  • Be responsible for inbound and outbound shipping with 3PL
  • Review & approve invoices of suppliers
  • Be actively involved in New Product Introduction
  • Participate in business reviews with suppliers
  • Document and improve operational policies and procedures
  • Provide monthly VAT Reporting
  • Review and approve export documentation
  • Arrange shipments for tradeshows
  • Manage inventory counts, returned material (RMA) and safety stock levels at logistic centers
  • Complete monthly supplier build forecast
  • Conduct analysis and ensure optimization of inventory at logistic centers
  • Provide overall leadership, direction and support to assigned team including recruitment, training, succession planning, coaching and annual performance evaluations
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

You have

  • A postsecondary degree or diploma, along with 10 or more years of progressive experience in supply chain and logistics
  • Experience in warehouse/logistic contract negotiations
  • Excellent people management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong understanding and competency of MS office
  • Knowledge of Oracle/NetSuite systems (considered an asset)
