Job Title: Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream

The University of Toronto invites applications for a three-year full-time contractually limited term appointment in the Ethics and Philosophy of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence. This joint appointment will be between the Department of Philosophy (51%) and the Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences (49%). The rank is Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.

Required Skills: - PhD degree in Philosophy or closely related field by time of appointment - Demonstrated excellence in teaching - Specialization in area that concerns or connects substantially with ethics or philosophy of information technology

The successful candidate will work with both departments to join ongoing collaborative projects.
