Job Duties

Provide solutions support for Nanometrics existing accounts and relationships
Execute planning and design of product solutions for large scope projects and proposals
Provide systems engineering support in the design and build of prototype assets
Develop project plans and provide ongoing tracking of client project status / completion (for complex projects / new services)
Act as a service product line technical support focal point for Sales teams on all new opportunities; ensure the best alignment between the proposed solution and target customer use cases
Coordinate complex project execution among multifunctional operations teams
Be responsible and accountable for project cost, quality and schedule for large agreements / complex projects; providing regular updates to senior leadership
Help manage external contractors and partners
Be the primary liaison between our clients, sales and technical teams to turn large / complex project proposals into executable operations tasks

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science or related field
510 years experience in electrical or instrumentation systems engineering, integration, design or product development
Experience in structured requirements development and validation
Working knowledge of the fundamentals of systems integration
Ability to work in Canada

Assets

Prior experience working in Oil & Gas, Mining, CO2 Sequestration, Geothermal and Critical Infrastructure industries
Working knowledge of lowpower and remote power systems
Ability to speak Portuguese or Spanish
Working knowledge of communication systems (cellular, VSAT, etc.)
Experience preparing technical drawings and packages, including asbuilt drawings for electronic systems
Project management certification (PMP) from an accredited program
Prior experience with industry standard project management tools, such as JIRA or Microsoft Project
