Description
We are a floral wholesale supply business dealing with retail florists and other floral businesses. We have a full-time opportunity for a Floral Display Assistant

Hours:
Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm plus the occasional evening and weekend

Rate:
$20/hour to $25/hr depending on experience plus a comprehensive Benefits package after mandatory 3-month qualifying period.


Primary Duties:


  • Creating & Refreshing floral displays seasonally and as warranted
  • Displaying floral supplies and merchandise in a creative manner.
  • Creating silk arrangements to be displayed or sold.
  • Help organize & set up classes with our floral Instructors
  • General warehouse duties

Requirements:


  • Must have floral design experience.
  • Merchandising experience an asset
  • Provide a portfolio of designs and displays
  • Must be able to lift, pull and push up to and including 25 lbs.
  • Must be selfmotivated and be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure within tight time constraints
  • Detail oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and orally
  • Computer knowledge an asset
  • Florist: 2 years experience (preferred)

Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
