Description
Tillicum Lelum Aboriginal Friendship Centre offers holistic programs based on cultural and traditional values. We are currently in search of an Interim Finance Officer familiar with financial management within a business environment.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will use your knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office programs alongside your financial management experience to complete a variety of finance related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes and controls the finances of the Friendship Centre
- Prepares financial reports and other documentation as required
- Prepares department budgets in conjunction with department supervisors
- Provides financial advice and guidance to Management Team
- Process Accounts Payable and Receivables
- Process Payroll
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with financial management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a Team Player
- Knowledge of ACCPAC would be an asset
- Knowledge of EXCEL and Microsoft Word Computer programs
- Excellent report and analytical skills
- Experience in a financial industry would be asset
Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Salary:
From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
