is an integrated Environmental Services Company providing Industrial, Municipal, Institutional, Commercial and Residential customers with leading edge solutions to a variety of environmental and waste handling problems.

Operator (Forklift) Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain the warehouse and ensure at all time there is a walking path thought the warehouse, to all emergency stations, and to all exits; kept clear of containers, garbage, and debris.

Maintain the waste in the warehouse and ensure all wastes are tracked, secured, and segregated appropriately.
Tracking - All containers must have their locations on the database reflect where they are actually located:

All waste containers must have appropriate labelling including:
Container Number so they can be tracked,
Volume,
Shipping Name
Waste Number, and
TDG Class Symbol with UN Number (when applicable)
If containers are moved, their locations must be updated to reflect the move.
Securing and Segregating - All waste being stored in the warehouse must be done so in a safe manner:

All material must be stored in appropriate containers (example: Material with a TDG Packing Group must be in drums rated for that Packing Group).

All containers are properly closed.
A skid of waste being placed above ground level needs to be banded.
All totes must be placed so that their valves face out (towards the forklift).
Any containers containing sharps must be placed in the designated Sharps Storage Cabinet and locked.


In General, containers should be stored in a manner to ensure:
Accessibility to the fire response personnel and/or fire department
Accessibility to material control personnel
Stability of containers
Appropriate segregation
Maintain the indoor forklift, completing pre-shift inspections and proper sanitization.
Weigh all necessary waste containers.

Signs of residual material from containers or vehicles is to be contained, reported to a supervisor, and then cleaned up.

And other related duties as assigned by your Supervisor.
