We are currently looking for a
Material Handler/ Fulfillment Driver who will be responsible for picking orders, driving and operating a company vehicle that requires a "G" Driver's License.
Material Handler/ Fulfillment Driver will maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.
The role will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fulfillment Driver Job Duties:
- Delivery and stocking of products in Industrial Vending machines at different locations in the GTA
- Safely operate a company vehicle in designated area to provide products and service to clients
- Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation
- Manage daily route independently to ensure customer satisfaction and accurate and timely delivery of product
- Load/unload product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines
Material Handler Job Duties:
- Review and pick products based on customer orders and then pull the right products for each order
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pack, wrap, label, load, ship)
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording the location of inventory
- Help receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, pick, label, store)
- Assist with inventory control and keep quality standards high for audit
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report discrepancies and collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when the product is missing in a delivery
- Work closely with the inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis
- Communicate and cooperate with coworkers and Warehouse Leads
- Adhere to any current or future standard operating procedures and company policies
Job Requirements:
- Keep vehicle and equipment clean, tidy, and in good operating condition
- Excellent customer service skills
- High school Diploma/GED required
- Ability to lift loads of up to 50lbs as require
- Must have safety footwear
- 1+ years in inventory management experience
- Must be current on certifications for Walkies, Counterbalance and Reach Truck Operations
- Forklift experience is mandatory (OSHA forklift certification is considered an asset)
- 2+ years of warehouse experience with use of handheld computers
- Must have a clean criminal background check and driver abstract
- Strong attention to detail with good communication skills
