The Role
What You'll Do
- Ensure the availability, scalability, performance, and security of company's end user computing and operational devices.
- Serve as a SME for end users problem diagnosis and fixes.
- Perform delivery and troubleshooting activities.
- Work on Patching and Licensing initiatives
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing assigned objectives on time and by always looking to provide additional value to the company and its customers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent work experience an asset
- 5+ years of System Administration Work Experience as asset, including:
- Linux system administration procedures, including common scripting language and tools
- OKTA Admin and SAML
- Active Directory
- Office 36
- In depth knowledge of Google workspaces product, proven experience managing large Google workspaces system.
- Basic knowledge of AWS ecosystem.
- Hardware installation (Mac, Windows & Linux laptops)
- Experience in supporting R&D team tooling ( JIRA, Github, etc)
- Installation of apps and software
- Managing MDM system and profiles
- Strong understanding of networking and enduser Security technologies
- Excellent Troubleshooting Skills are required.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills are required, you can find yourself working with executives, clients, and peers throughout the day.
