McMan's Family Resource Network is looking for an Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you would be responsible for providing early childhood programming, capacity building and educational workshops for parents and caregivers of infants and children from 0-6 years. Located in the Okotoks Resource Network offices, you will provide services and resources families need to promote social connection and support, caregiver capacity building and child development and wellbeing. This role provides information sessions and presentations to other professionals, participates in community events, builds and fosters relationships within the community and delivering curriculum-based learning to parents in a group setting or one-on-one.

This position does require some evening work, occasional weekends, and the successful candidate must be flexible to support families in both the Calgary and Foothills region.

You have:

· A completed degree or diploma in social work, psychology or related human service discipline

· 2+ years of relevant experience working with families

· Strong interpersonal skills, program planning & administrative abilities

· Strong knowledge of early childhood development and building parenting capacity

· Experience in group facilitation and in delivering parenting programs

· Excellent interpersonal and supportive counselling skills

· Knowledge and competence in serving diverse families

• A strong knowledge of community resources in Okotoks and surrounding communities

• Knowledge and competence in serving diverse families

· Valid Driver's license and adequate automobile insurance

• Relevant First Aid Training

• Suicide Intervention Awareness Training

· A CURRENT (within 6 months) Child Intervention check and Police/ Vulnerable Sector check

Salary Range: $54, $60,215.00
