Description

Main Duties:


  • Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a strong first impression of the quality of service they can expect during their stay
  • Perform check in and check out services
  • Resolve any guest issues
  • Answer all phone calls and make reservations if required
  • Be responsible for the safety and comfort of all guests.
  • Handle any guest complaints related to noise/disturbances to the complete satisfaction of the guests.
  • Communicate all issues/incidents via correct reports to Managers for review the following day
  • Understand all emergency procedures
  • Prepare reports as required during your shift

Requirements:


  • Previous Front Desk experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable in computer functions (hotel pms, word, excel, internet)
  • IHG and Opera experience an asset
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to multitask
  • Confidence in dealing with guest issues/emergency issues
  • Must be fluent in English both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team, and work with mínimal supervision.
  • Must be a responsible and capable individual, with good communication skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
$15.50-$16.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Strathroy, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Customer service (preferred)
