Description

Under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist, the student will assist with day to day operations of the pharmacy. This position is on-site at 9B Paton Street, St. Johns, NL, A1B 4S8.

Pay rate - $17 per hour for 37.5 hour work week

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists the pharmacy assistant in preparing medication shipments and shipment labels
Assists the pharmacy assistants in labeling of medications as allowed by law.
Assists the pharmacy assistant in maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
Assists the pharmacy assistant in filing and scanning documents.
Assists the pharmacy team in entering data in various software programs used at the pharmacy
Assists with ordering, receiving and storing medications and supplies in appropriate environment.
Answer telephones, forward calls, take messages and assist customers.
Cleans work areas routinely in accordance with policies and procedures.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Able to work with mínimal supervision.
Must be able to perform all the physical duties and requirements of a general labor job.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualification

QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in university PharmD program
