KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Program Assistant supports the smooth operation of clerical activities within the Program of The Family Support Fund
Support projectrelated activities and tasks within the FSF program, including:
Assisting with initiatives related to the Application process
Supporting communication plans and client and family engagement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

Customer service related experience
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Empathetic and professional customer service skills
Applicable knowledge of client and familycentred care
Account/bookkeeping experience
A well cultivated critical thinker who gathers and assesses relevant information, thinks openmindedly and communicates effectively with others in figuring out solutions to complex problems
Proactive, with exceptional organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Works collaboratively within a team environment
Skilled and comfortable with MS 2010

Office Products:
Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook

Experience with database platforms an assessment
High school diploma and some additional education around health administration.

Additional Requirements

Youth between the ages of 15 and 30 (at the start of the employment)
Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or have official refugee protection status under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Youth hired for a CSJfunded job should not be already employed fulltime by the organization. However, a youth working parttime for an employer, or who has previously worked for an employer as part of a Coop placement is eligible for a CSJfunded job
