- Travel within the GTA with occasional travel in Southeastern USA.
- Act as liaison between customers and the sales, production, and applications teams.
- Schedule and coordinate startups and ensure that equipment on site works to specifications.
- Create and carry out test procedures, investigate problems, diagnose, and repair faults.
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation of each job.
- Create comprehensive training material for startups and commissioning of the equipment.
- Provide training to sales reps and technicians.
- Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering/HVAC Technology.
- 5+ years' experience with startup and commissioning of HVAC, OEM, or other industrial equipment.
- Exposure to PLC and HMI operation and programming.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and components, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting control panels.
- Knowledge of ECM motors, sensors, and communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet).
- HVAC equipment knowledge is an asset.
- Able to travel and be on call.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
