Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Prospect and identify potential 'centre of influence' clients (designers, realtors, builders, etc.) in the local market through external cold calls, followup calls, and by cultivating networking opportunities including attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their flooring needs and preferences.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients as a consultative sales partner.
  • Embrace the Bill Knight customer journey through Floorzap, our digital ERP/CRM, ensuring accurate and timely data management.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Develop and execute an annual business plan detailing individual strategies for achieving sales goals.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the company.
  • Represent Bill Knight Flooring with professionalism, embodying our core values of Integrity, Customer-Centricity, and Communication.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar role, preferably in the flooring or related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients and industry professionals.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, with a record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, ideally with experience in digital ERP/CRM systems like Floorzap.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and events.
