The Retail Supervisor is responsible to assist Retail Management in creating and implementing an integrated sales culture and guest experience focused environment.

The Retail Supervisor will work to develop this culture and grow it in all retail locations; including responsibility for growing sales revenue, staff contribution, and the stores overall financial performance.

The Retail Supervisor is also responsible for all employee relations including, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Hourly Rate of $20.09

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Supervision of the Retail Sales associate team including; recruitment, training, daily work assignment and performance management
  • Provides customer service to all guests, taking ownership of guests' concerns through to final resolution
  • Create payroll schedules for all stores, with consideration for peak periods, staff availability and payroll budgets
  • Implementation of an effective communication strategy that ensures the frontline retail team has the information they need to be successful
  • Partner with vendor representatives to ensure delivery of all merchandise presentation standards
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of seasonal entrance and exit strategies
  • Collaborate with the procurement team on the analysis of merchandise sales performance to budget to identify fast and slowmoving goods
  • Lead the execution of marketing initiatives
  • Accountable for maintaining accurate inventory controls and execution of the annual store inventory count

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • A minimum of two years supervisory experience
  • Previous retail experience a must
  • Selfmotivated individual who has the proven ability to initiate new procedures to "get it done"
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Computer literate in MS Office suite of programs
  • POS experience mandatory
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays
