Description
We are looking for commercial foreman electricians to join our team.If you have attention to detail, strong communication/interpersonal skills, and are able to work with and manage an electrical team effectively then please apply.
What you should have:
- Red seal journeyman certification
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
- Strong knowledge of distribution equipment and BC Hydro standards
- Min. 2 5 years commercial experience
What you will be doing:
- Plan projects and work through interpretation of electrical drawings
- Organize materials and equipment required for each task
- Maintain safe working practices and conditions
- Communicate with other trades and clients to coordinate work
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
- Work independently on service calls and projects involving distribution, emergency lighting, lighting, branch circuitry, and fire alarm systems
Nice to have:
- First aid certification
- Fall protection training
- Boom & scissor lift training
- Previous experience running projects
Salary:
$38.00-$43.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
