Job Summary

Responsibilities will include:
- Perform inbound parts inspection based on AQL sampling, outbound inspection, generate reports as required.
- Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings.
- Perform dimensional check, visual inspection and functionality by using different types of calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices to determine quality of parts.
- Uphold Quality standards as set by the company and ISO 13485:2016/MDSAP
- Generate nonconformance report or return goods authorization reports for any defect found in incoming parts.
- Perform customer complaint investigations to determine root cause and appropriate corrective and preventive action.
- Trouble shoot returned complaint samples and update complaint documentation.
- Participate in corrective and preventive action, root cause analysis as well as continuous improvement meetings.
- Escalate any new, unknown risk or hazards for further evaluation and decisions
- Work with multidisciplinary and crossfunctional teams to ensure the timely completion and closure of complaints.
- Interpret and analyze statistical data to identify trends.
- Maintain, schedule and calibration of all measuring device and instrumentals used in the company.
- Ensuring that all testing equipment are validated.
- Able to perform functionality tests and understand/interpret results.
- Initiate and/or provide training as required for inbound/outbound quality team members.
- Any other duties required to maintain quality relating to process.
- Assist in maintenance and any other duties as required by the quality supervisor/ manager.
Qualifications:
- Able to understand mechanical drawings
- Great attention to detail and noticing small differences is a must
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate in verbal English
- Able to work in a fast paced and timesensitive environment
- Quality education background and work experience of 1 to 2 years is preferred
Additional Information:
- Working hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- You must bring your own steeltoed safety shoes (eligible for reimbursement after probation)
