International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program Language Acquisition Teacher(French and English)Start Date:
September 1,2024 -June 30, /2025 school year)
78 dependent on education and experience
Develop and deliver International Baccalaureate(IB) units incorporating the BC Curriculum
Fully participate in our programs and culture of our school community
Support and monitor student academics, personal growth and development
Keep up to date with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities
Assign, assess and evaluate class work, homework, tests and assignments on a regular basis
Supervise Extended Essay and/or Personal Project
Embrace inquiry in teaching and learning
Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by IB and Ministry guidelines and school policies and regulations
Bachelor degree in the subject being taught
Fluent in French and English both written and speaking
Experience teaching at the middle school level
Experience and familiarity with the BC Curriculum and IB teaching experience
Boarding school experience an asset
First Aid Level 1 or higher an asset
