    Recruiter II / Talent Acquisition Consultant – L5

    The current team is 100% remote. On 09/08/2024 – entire team will be hybrid with 3 days in office.

    The Opportunity:

    The Talent Acquisition Consultant partners with lines of business and functional areas to provide strategic recruiting services to ensure that the company's recruiting programs maximize visibility and result in high quality hires across the organization.

    Brief Overview:

    Experiencing high volumes, and need a recruiter to assist the team.

    Team of 6 recruiters. Each recruiter has a portfolio in corporate functions. Corporate functions carry 15+ portfolios. Each recruiter normally has 2-3 portfolios on average. Unsure which portfolio this new contractor will get.

    End-to-end recruitment. Recruiters are responsible for receiving REQ in Workday, reach out to hiring manager to do Intake Call, and post the position. The recruiter may need to assist with REQ creation and will need to walk through the steps of the recruitment process and how long the process will take. May also present candidates ahead of time (Showcase their understanding). Job posting goes up, within specific timelines. Recruiter begins shortlisting once the posting is down, and shortlisting candidates through to Workday for manager to review. The recruiter will prescreen candidates the manager has chosen. Prescreen will be done via video. Recruiter will present feedback to manager on prescreen. Will assist the manager with next round interviews. Recruiters will do debriefs after every interview. Once candidate is selected, Recruiter will assist with salary negotiations (with HR and Hiring Manager) and compensation package. The recruiter will put together offer letter and sent to candidate. Once the candidate signs, it goes on to another team for onboarding. The Recruiter maintains contact with the candidate to answer FAQs until candidate is clear to start.

    Looking For:

    Someone who is passionate for providing great customer service in this role. Need excellent candidate and customer experience. Looking for someone willing to lean in and ask pertinent, thoughtful questions.

    Someone who is a "Team Fit" or "Culture Fit".

    Excellent communication skills.

    Thinking outside the box, when it comes to recruitment strategies.

    Deal Breakers:

    • Not looking from agency recruiter experience Combination of agency and corporate experience is fine if, the corporate experience is the most recent and/or the majority of the experience. Corporate recruitment is preferred. Someone who can navigate a corporate environment.

    Required:

    • 3-5 years of SOLID recruiting experience
    • Sourcing is a requirement.
    • Previous experience using WORKDAY, required.

    Nice to have:

    • Recruiting experience within the insurance or financial industry preferred
    • Bilingualism, English/French is an asset, not required.

    On the Job You Will:

    • Partner with management in the proactive sourcing of talent for critical skill areas to build a talent pipeline for investment portfolio.
    • Create and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract top talent, both passive and active.
    • Coach managers on the recruiting process, interview techniques, and selection criteria.
    • Stay current on recruitment trends in the insurance space by maintaining and enhancing a network of contacts in the industry, participating in industry events and professional associations.
    • Internally market our services to employees and managers, promoting our value add and expertise.
    • Drive the candidate selection process and ensure managers have the tools needed to select the most qualified candidate.
    • Manage and/or participate in projects as needed.

    Recommended Experience:

    • 3-5 years of recruiting experience within the insurance or financial industry preferred.
    • Experience using alternative sourcing methods, with a focus on social media and networking tools.
    • Demonstrated success in taking a consultative approach with internal and external clients while providing business solutions.
    • Organized and detail oriented with a pro-active approach.
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate an environment with multiple and shifting priorities with ease.
    • Previous experience using Workday is an asset.
    • Bilingualism, English/French is an asset.
