What You'll Do


You will be given the ability to lead and perform user research (interviews, journey mapping, surveys, etc.) to capture and identify user needs and/or problems to be solved and translate for development, while you collaborate with engineering, sales and marketing to bring to life users' needs by designing engaging and intuitive user interfaces.


You will also have the opportunity to educate, mentor and communicate user experience methodologies across the organization as applicable and to ensure design priorities are conveyed effectively, and would be expected to stay abreast of current and emerging trends, unique opportunities and challenges of our customers industries and use cases.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Maximizing the value of the user experience for our customers
  • Connecting with, identifying the problems of and understanding our customers' needs
  • Support development as the goto person for product design requirements and customer needs
  • Work closely with product managers to create overall product vision and roadmap
  • Ensure projects are completed according to established specifications and are properly documented throughout the project life cycle
  • Develop and report on design KPIs for tracking relevant business outcomes
  • Lead discussions and reviews of product design deliverables with stakeholders
  • Help to define the long term vision of the products designed and associated roadmap

Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor's degree in designrelated field
  • 6+ years' experience in SaaS B2B usercentered product design
  • Deep experience with customer and user journey mapping
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with user research methodologies
  • Experience with range of UX design, implementation, accessibility, and analytic tools
  • Expertise in user interface design principles, interaction design guidelines, and usercentered design processes
  • Expertise in usability methodologies, human factors, industry standards and trends, platform standards, and software development processes
  • Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fastpaced team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Assets (Nice to Have):

  • Design Thinking training or certification
  • GRC marketplace experience
  • Full product lifecycle experience (i.e., launching new and improving existing products)
  • AHA experience
