Our leading food and beverage manufacturing client is looking for a Senior Director of Financial Technology (Finance Portfolio Product Services) with a specific focus on SAP S4 HANA transformation. This is a full time permanent role reporting to the Toronto office on a hybrid model.

The Senior Director of Finance Portfolio Product Services, reporting directly to the VP of Global Technology Product Services. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead finance transformations and strategic initiatives within our technology division. We're looking for a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering, alongside a deep understanding of technology operations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process improvements and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with C-suite executives to develop and execute finance technology strategies.
• Provide insights into key financial metrics and drive performance optimization.
• Oversee finance technology portfolio, including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to technology leaders, ensuring informed decision-making.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks within the technology portfolio.
• Present regular performance reports to finance leadership.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Track product utilization and create heat maps of functions used.
• Ensure stakeholders are accountable for value realization.
• Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture team for design compatibility.
• Engage with vendors for product and service assessment.
• Drive detailed design and solution development.
• Manage completion of key test preparation and execution activities.
• Provide leadership in various project-related activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with 5 years in a leadership role in a tech-focused organization.
• Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA or SAP ECC, along with other finance solutions like SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Strong understanding of technology operations, including software development lifecycle and cloud services.
• Proven track record of driving finance transformations and implementing best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong project and change management capability.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and driving business results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Must-Haves:

• SAP S4 HANA Full Implementation: You must have hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA implementation.
• Presentation Skills: Ability to confidently present to C-level executives and stakeholders.
• Finance Background: Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
• Global Experience: Demonstrated experience working with global teams/implementations with companies that have a global presence or are internationally recognized.
• Consulting Background: Prior experience in a consulting role, particularly in finance or technology consulting, would be highly advantageous.
• Food and Beverage Experience: Familiarity with the food and beverage industry.
• While not mandatory, possessing a CPA designation is considered an asset.
