This is a Summer Job experience geared towards a Post-Secondary Student returning to full-time school in September 2024.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR APPLICANTS WITH STRONG SUMMER CAMP LEADING EXPERIENCE
Community Church will be hosting summer camps throughout the summer for families that cannot afford full day camps.
We will offer camps to children from ages 5-13 and will also enable teens to come out and volunteer as junior leaders, giving them important experience for future employment opportunities.
This will also assure that all children are kept together in a safe place.We will also look to host senior's activities and events, helping the seniors in our community.
The Summer Camp Co-Ordinators will:
- Plan Summer Camp Themes and Activities prior to Camp Weeks
- Market Summer Camps throughout the Community
- Implement and carry out summer camp plans throughout the summer months
- Educate and Supervise the Summer Camp Counselors on the camp themes and activities
- Follow up with parents with regards to camp procedures, policies, and any potential issues.
- Plan and implement activities for seniors in our community.
- Plan an implement community social programs like clothing bank, foodbank, and workshops.
Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months
Pay:
$17.55 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
