Some roles follow a hybrid work structure where employees both work from home or in person, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks and/or personal work preferences.

Working from the office/studio/meeting location is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration. Training and Workshops may be online or in-person, as needed.

Due to federal funding requirements for this position, eligible applicants must:

  • Be years of age on their first day of work
  • Be a Canadian citizen, have a permanent resident card, or be protected under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
  • Be present in Canada while working
  • Hold a valid Social Insurance Number, and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
Stage Manager


Stage Managers provide indispensable practical and organizational support to directors, performers, designers, and technical crew throughout the production and rehearsal process, and supervise onstage and backstage activity during performances to make sure the show goes off without a hitch.

They facilitate communication across all creative and technical departments; act as a right hand to the director; oversee sets, props, lights, and sound; and call all technical cues during performances.

Recording Assistant


Recording Assistants use technical knowledge and expertise to produce and manipulate the sound for performances and recordings, including assembling, operating and maintaining the technical equipment used to record, amplify, enhance, mix or reproduce sound.

Theatre Technician


Theatre Technicians facilitate all the technical aspects and support required to mount the production onstage, including the operation and maintenance of lighting, sound, and related equipment and systems used in support of stage productions; stage management; and assisting with a variety of clerical office duties.

Production Assistant


Production Assistants prepare schedules and budgets, secure and set up equipment, make travel arrangements, relay messages between the crew and performers, and other duties related to the broadcasting and production of technical rehearsals and performances.

Wardrobe Attendant

Wardrobe Attendants maintain and coordinate all wardrobe elements before, during, and after technical rehearsals and live events.

Technical Assistant


Technical Assistants provide expanded support for sound reinforcement, lighting, computer, and audio-visual support, as well as logístical and operational support to rehearsals and live events.

Typical Work Hours- Regular hours Tuesday - Sunday- Rotational coverage for evenings and weekends as scheduled

  • We are closed for all staff on Mondays
The Co-op seeks individuals who enjoy collaboration, creativity, learning new skills, and engaging with artists and the community. This position includes some evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Following our initial screening, applicants may be invited to a formal job interview. Interviews take place in March/April onwards until positions are filled.

Co-op membership is not required to participate in the competition for this position, and no preference is given to existing members in our ranking process.
