Job Summary
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Liaise directly with customers and act as account manager to ensure customer service requirements are understood and fulfilled
- Post bonds for products imported or assist clients in obtaining bonds
- Required to prepare the necessary import documentation such as certificates of origin and cargo control documents.
- Ability to be flexible and work extended hours as required
Job Requirements
- This position is for an entrylevel customs professional who is able to meet performance deadlines and adhere to all client requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficient with the use of a computer, including Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of the transportation industry and associated laws
- Experience working with customers through various means of communication and ability to manage customer relations
Position Details
- Day shift: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am 4:30 pm
- Afternoon shift: Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm 11:30 pm
- Night shift: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 pm 6:30 am
- Friday to Sunday from 10:00 pm to 10:00 am
- Office environment no remote work available
