BJS Transport Ltd is seeking a highly skilled long haul truck driver to join our team.

About the Job

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers 32 to 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, working as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Load and unload goods from vehicles in a timely manner.
Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition.
Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
Transport and handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with other drivers and teams to achieve efficient transportation goals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role, but relevant experience and training are essential.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent professionalism in customer service and teamwork skills.
