Department Overview
TD Merchant Solutions (TDMS) provides reliable, flexible and easy to use card payment solutions to corporate, commercial and small business clients.
A wide selection of payment processing solutions includes Point of Sale (POS) terminals, PC Software and E-Commerce card processing solutions that allow businesses to authorize and settle their payment card transactions electronically, whether the payment is debit or credit card.
TDBFG is the only bank in Canada which directly operates a merchant processor/acquirer, resulting in unique opportunities and challenges in a highly competitive environment.
TDMS' Merchant Delivery Team is responsible for:
- Deployment, Installation and Maintenance of POS equipment across Canada.
- Management and coordination of Vendor Partners throughout Canada.
- Complete Lifecycle Management and Inventory Control of all TDowned POS equipment.
- Security Key injection of POS equipment.
- Scheduling and implementation of major product rollouts
Below are some of tasks required:
- Provide support for device deployment & migration projects including but not limited to: dispatching, follow-up, closures, device update/support calls
- Bolster and maintain effective relationships and partnerships internally & externally to support the achievement of business objectives
- Assist in/provide support for root cause analysis and corrective action issue resolution
- Assist with Pre/Post Implementation Review (PIR) through updates and/or ongoing feedback
- Ensure necessary due diligence is taken to support the accuracy and timeliness of all transactions and system (TEMS/TMS/B24/MFocus) updates
- Follow established framework and processes/procedures to support the Service Delivery Model and maintain a standard delivery of services and strive for first time resolution in all interactions, with Technicians and TD Partners.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert and be available for technology / IT testing for systems
- Assist the Service Delivery Specialists in call overflow as directed by management

- Technical/POS Device Knowledge would be an asset
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Products (Excel, Projects, Visio, and Word)
- Working Knowledge of TEM, TMS, BASE24, and MFOCUS
- Able and willing to "roll up sleeves" to deliver projects
