    Accounts Payable Clerk

    Rothesay, NB

    Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's rapidly growing team in Rothesay, NB. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for a wide variety of office duties in support of the client's operations. This position is typically a first point of contact for visitors and guests of the facility, either in person or by phone, and engages with the public in a welcoming and friendly manner.

    Available Shifts: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

    Rate of Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

    Primary Responsibilities:

    ? Receiving, inputting, and processing accounts payable invoices and reconciling vendor/supplier statements, as needed.

    ? Process payments to vendors.

    ? Greet, assist and/or direct students, parents, employees, alumni, visitors, and guests to the facility.

    ? Answer, assist and/or direct inbound telephone calls.

    ? Assist faculty and staff team members, as needed.

    ? Manage, coordinate and order office supplies, as needed.

    ? Exercise a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and tact in all aspects of the role.

    ? Maintain a clean and organized reception/lobby area.

    ? Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    Qualifications:

    ? Post-secondary in administration or related field, or combination of work experience and education.

    ? Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite.

    ? Experience with Sage 300 ERP or another accounting software program, would be an asset.

    ? Possess a welcoming and friendly manner both in person and on the phone.

    ? Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors to the facility.

    ? Ability to work independently and take initiative.

    ? Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact in a professional manner.

    ? High level of organizational and time management skills and able to multitask in a high traffic reception/lobby area working environment.

    ? Knowledge of basic accounting and/or bookkeeping.

    ? Demonstrate punctuality, timeliness, and a strong work ethic.
