Our World-class Service team is committed to train and provide all the necessary certifications. The incumbent is required to visit on-site customers & work in our workshop.


Primarily responsibilities are to inspect, service and repair industrial and safety products such as self-contained breathing apparatus, gas monitor units, torque wrenches, chain hoists and other safety lifting devices in accordance with manufacturing standards and Grainger Services procedures.

With our various wealth of products, our team members can specialize in various industries & verticals.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Prepares estimates for repair or service on authorized work orders
  • Due to the nature of this role, bilingualism (English and French) is a requirement
  • Review plans/schematics and specifications to determine required materials and/or sequence of repairs.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot main equipment issues in a quick turnaround time
  • Tests equipment to confirm operating performance and completes required documentation
  • Operate a variety of hand and power toolsToolbox
  • Maintain Parts inventory and work area in an orderly fashion
  • Ability to work in a shop and customerfacing during onsite and office visits.
  • Actively participate and contribute to safety meetings
  • Actively support Company principles by encouraging team to suggest new ideas, be accountable for actions, work as a team and keep abreast of new products and opportunities
  • Observe safety policies and procedures of Occupational Health & Safety Act and any other pertinent legislation governing applicable
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be required
Job Requirements:


EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Completion of High School Diploma
  • Additional training or education in technical or businessrelated fields is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitasks and handle various priorities
  • Required to obtain 2 designated manufacturer certifications within 1st year of employment
  • Mechanically inclined & experience in mechanical aptitude is preferred
  • Selfmotivator, autonomous and resourceful
  • Good mathematical proficiency
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment
  • Proven ability to work with various computer programs
  • Valid driver's license, on the road requirements (Company truck available)
  • Valid passport & ability to travel to United States for training, certification purposes
