    Based in a world class Horizon North camp facility, the regular shift for this position is 20 days on and 10 days off, with 12-hour workdays.

    Transportation is provided to site from a designated pickup point.
    This position is safety sensitive and may require drug,alcohol, and fit-to-work testing as a condition of employment.
    Ensuring inventory levels aremaintainedsufficiently, including ensuring current inventory is used following the first in first out method.
    Creating and following menus to ensure the quality of Breakfast menu variety.
    Ensuring consistent quality standards in overall food preparation as per clients' requirements including consideration of special dietary constraints
    Ensuring proper equipment operation, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen
    Complying with food hygiene regulations following the Food Safety Act.
    Supporting night shift employees; providing mentorship and training

    SafeCheck advanced food safety certification or HACCP certification is an asset.
    Minimum 3 years' cookingexperience in a similar or hotel/institutional environment

    Successful candidates MUST obtain a mark of 80% or higher on the mandatory WHMIS test (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).
