As an Instrumentation Technician, you will play a vital role in installing electrical systems for our client.


This temporary role set to commence on February 26th, 2024 until October 31st, 2024, offers a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise in shaping the future of instrumentation in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

  • Competitive pay from $42.00/hr to $52.00/hr. Your compensation will be based on your registered ITA trade level, cumulative skills, and work experience.

What would you be doing?

  • Install, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain process instrumentation, communication networks, and control equipment, including flow computers, tank gauging systems, custody transfer metering, and associated equipment.
  • Analyze, interpret and utilize the information contained in SCADA, LOI displays, and P ID drawings to ensure the safe operation of facilities.
  • Supports programming and troubleshooting of Local Operator Interfaces and Programmable Logic Controllers.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
  • Provide Instrumentation support and maintenance to ensure system reliability.
  • Use pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation and diagnose.
  • Repair, maintain and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts.

Does this sound like you?

  • Have a Journeyperson or Instrumentation Certificate or an Apprentice Instrumentation card.
  • Valid and uptodate Standard First Aid.
  • AWP and Fall Protection are assets.
  • Have high regard for personal safety and the safety of company assets and employees.
  • Selfmotivated and capable of performing tasks with mínimal supervision.
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.

  • This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of a drug and alcohol testing._
