We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Supervisor.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team to achieve operational and performance goals while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.

The Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring that our team is motivated, well-coordinated, and meets the company's objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
  • Set clear team goals and objectives, and ensure they are met.
  • Monitor team performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Train new team members and ensure they are integrated into the team effectively.
  • Create and maintain schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
  • Address team members' concerns, issues, and conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
  • Implement company policies and procedures and ensure team compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and drive improvements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and progress to upper management.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.

Requirements:

MUST HAVE: A Clear Police Information Check (
Vulnerable Sector and
Criminal Record) and
CPR:

  • Three (3) years experience as a Community Support Worker or related discipline.
  • Education in Community Support Worker, or other related post secondary education.
  • Experience working with children and youth.
  • Proven experience practicing Trauma Informed Care would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in working with diverse cultural and religious communities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture, beliefs, and traditions.
  • Certification (not required upon hire, but considered an asset if already obtained): Medication Administration, First Aid, Self-Harm Awareness, Suicide Intervention, NCI and Restrictive Procedures, Crisis Deescalation, Diversity/Cross Culture, Qualify Improvement/Outcome Measure, Indigenous Awareness, Trauma Informed Care, MANDT, Harm reduction, Abuse Prevention/Protection of Persons in Care Act, and Food Handling and Storage training

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Morning shift
  • Night shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (required)
  • Child Intervention Check (required)
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check (required)
