Mobile Trailer Technician at our
Burnaby, BC location.

Available Shift:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

What you will do as a Mobile Technician:_

Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems; landing gear assemblies and trailer frames; hitching/coupling systems; trailer bodies; suspensions systems; tires, wheels, hubs, and axles; air and auxiliary systems; braking systems; ventilation devices and hydraulic systems
Use hand tools and various specialized diagnostic equipment to diagnose, isolate and repair faults
Review work orders and discuss work to be performed with the supervisor
Perform scheduled maintenance service and test repaired systems
Communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and service managers
Parts charge out accuracy is required
Must operate a mobile service truck when and as required
Obtain and maintaining all required skills and certifications related to the trade
Other duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements:_

Trailer, Truck & Coach, Welding Fabricating, Electrical, Mechanical experience preferred
Must be able to work independently and engage in a team atmosphere
Organized and selfmotivated worker with great attention to detail.
Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
Prefer a licensed Trailer 310J or equivalent Provincial license
Requires a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
Own tools and be able to lift heavy parts up to 50 lbs
Provide Driver Abstract
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, training documents, and complete repair procedures in accordance with Ministry of Transportation repair requirements
