ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Private Pension Partners Realty Services Inc. ("P3 Realty") is seeking an experienced Special Projects Manager to join our Property Management team.

The Special Projects Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing critical initiatives and projects that are non-routine and strategically important to the organization and its portfolio of properties.

The Special Projects Manager will also be responsible for executing and successfully delivering projects that are assigned by the Senior Property Manager and/or the Vice President of Realty Services and that are aligned with P3 Realty's organizational goals and business driven outcomes.

This multifaceted role requires strong project management skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead the execution and monitoring of special projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget;
  • Help to organize and execute projects that may fall outside the scope of regular duties of the property management and maintenance teams;
  • Facilitate emergency response where required due to security, maintenance, or health & safety incidents;
  • Assist in building transitions from development team to property management team including coordinating warranty work, learning and implementing building processes, systems, and operations;
  • Collaborate with senior management to align projects with the organization's strategic objectives, identifying key deliverables and milestones;
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams, including departments like property management, asset management, development and leasing to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with various stakeholders; and
  • Monitor and report on project progress to senior management, addressing issues and making adjustments as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Problemsolving: Ability to work with property management team on developing and implementing solutions to unique problems as they occur;
  • Strategicthinking and selfstarter: Highly motivated with ability to think strategically, align projects with organizational goals, make decisions that contribute to overall business success, deal intuitively with any situation, exercise sound judgement, and work under mínimal supervision;
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex, nonroutine projects efficiently;
  • Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with crossfunctional teams, interacting with tenants or trades, handling conflict;
  • Time management: Ability to complete several tasks at once, prioritize timesensitive tasks, and ensure they get finished by their deadlines;
  • Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to work in dynamic and evolving environments and manage projects across various departments and domains;
  • Projectmanagement skills: Proven ability to drive projects from initiation to successful completion;
  • Knowledge of buildings, building systems, and construction considered an asset; and
  • Experience in real estate, property management or construction industries considered an asset.
