Responsibilities

Maintenance, service, and repair of boilers and other gas equipment
Quote and lead installations of boilers in commercial buildings
Properly staged jobs and adhere to quality and safety checklists
Maintain a clean, organized and wellinventoried company vehicle
Work alone or together as a team with other journeypersons and apprentices
Mentor and train gas fitter apprentices
Participate actively in all formal exercises and training to stay up to date in your trade

Qualifications and Requirements

Holder of Red Seal HVAC/R or Plumbing ticket
Holder of a A-Gas or B-Gas ticket (or equivalent)
Minimum 10 years of experience working on 500,000 BTU boilers
Light industrial experience would be an asset
Willing to mentor and teach apprentices
Great customer service skills
You are looking for a career path that moves you off the tools transitioning to a 50/50 tools/foreman role
Complete knowledge of all tools, equipment, and materials needed to perform service on commercial gas equipment and all codes governing those services
Proficient use of a computer; familiarity with Microsoft Office
Class 5 license with a clean driving record
Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluency in English
Ability to pass a Police Background Check
