We own 3 arenas in Toronto (Scotiabank Pond, Chesswood arena and Westwood arena), as well as arenas in Cambridge, London and the Pierrefonds Sportplexe in Quebec.

Job Summary
Supervision:
- Lead and be accountable for all areas of the front of house operations.
- Responsible for ordering, inventory control, budgeting, management of bar and labour cost.
- Strive to achieve sales targets while respecting company budget during daytoday operations.
- Develop/update inhouse promotions in conjunction with the Cook and General Manager.
- Resolve all customer complaints with grace and tact.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding and train new staff.
- Prepare employee schedule on a weekly or biweekly basis to ensure appropriate staffing.
- Lead and set standards of professionalism to ensure consistent high level of customer service.
- Effective in delegating tasks to team members appropriately.
- Ensure the company tipping and tip out practices are adhered to.
- Provide regular performance feedback to employees and engage in conflict resolution if needed
- Ensure bar and staff compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Server/Bartender:
- Greet customers and present menu.
- Take orders and make appropriate recommendations.
- Note down any allergies and alert the kitchen.
- Prepare and server alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
- Serve food & beverage items as ordered in a timely fashion.
- Prepare restaurant tables with attention to sanitation and order
- Operate the POS to take orders and process transactions and payments.
- Clear dishes and replenish washed plates and silverware.
- Prepare and stock all service items including maintaining assigned par levels
- Maintain restaurant to ensure the utmost visual appeal and Brand alignment
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Secondary School Diploma required
- Previous progressive supervisory experience in casual dining is preferred
- Experience in serving and bartending
- Smart Serve Certification is mandatory, Food Handlers Certification is recommended
- Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment
- Requires a police background check and clearance
- Proficiency in English verbal and written communication
- Technical ability to work with a computer and restaurant software
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour
