- Ensure all daily operations and project activities are well-defined, efficiently managed, meet established standards and policies, and deliver expected outcomes.
- Design, configure, and implement secure network solutions while working in tandem with the Information Security team, playing a pivotal role in the development and implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures within the networking environment
- Creating documentation, while overseeing the deployment and testing of various network technologies in accordance with industry best practices.
- diagnosing the root causes of issues and devising and executing effective plans for repair, prioritizing methods that mitigate identified risks and consequences.
- Ensure effective asset management by maintaining all equipment, warranties, and licensing for in-scope equipment, software, and services, while ensuring that our partners and vendors are industry experts, consistently delivering high-value services to the organization.
This is a hybrid role involving both remote and on-site collaboration out of our Brampton office. - 10 or more years of work experience in IT Networking or equivalent combination of transferrable experience and education.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
- Proven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness.
- Proven experience in network administration, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
