Department Overview


TD Wealth Operations is part of Wealth Shared Services and is the operational engine of TD Wealth, acting as a Centre of excellence for core processes that underpin key moments in our clients' relationship with the Wealth business, including onboarding, transfer services, trade clearing, settlement, cash management, tax reporting and delivering client statements and communications.


Wealth Operations supports all of TD Wealth distribution channels, TD Mutual Funds, TD Asset Management, TD Securities and TD Retail.

The Operational Excellence Team is the newest team within Wealth Operations and has an exciting mandate that includes championing the implementation of Wealth's Operational Excellence strategy, providing business management support to Operations by establishing standards and strategies for programs that span Operations, and representing Operations on pan-Operations, pan-Wealth projects and programs TD Wealth Operations goal is to be recognized as an industry leader in Operational Excellence, to provide legendary client and partner experiences, and to foster a leading employee experience.


  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operational Excellence, the Wealth Operations Analyst is responsible for providing oversight and engagement on major programs affecting Wealth Operations. The immediate focus for the role is on Wealth Direct Investing and TD Retail programs. The individual will work closely with various Wealth Operations stakeholders and Project Delivery teams to ensure tools, processes, procedures, and training in place to support the project change impact.
The accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Represent Wealth Operations on the program:
  • Act as a conduit for the program into any area of Wealth Operations and proactively identify where Wealth Operations needs to be engaged; Pullin Wealth Operations leaders and SMEs as required
  • Provide support and lead the coordination of any Wealth Operations specific deliverables, alignment on timeline and status updates
  • Ensure effective communication between Wealth Operational and the program:
  • Support and maintain regular communication cadence with Operations SMEs and Leadership team, with focus on accomplishments, issues, and risks
  • Support in managing and facilitating conflict resolution; define options and achieve consensus on approaches where possible
  • Project Delivery Support:
  • Ensure Wealth Operations specific work package are tracked, accounted and delivered according to program timeline
  • Support in the assessment of business requirement to proactively identify the Wealth Operations area of impact and engage the SMEs as required
  • Support in the Change Management Activities:
  • Assess level of change affecting each Operational area and work with key representatives to identify changes required to procedures, and training requirement
  • EUC/Macro automation assessment; work with Operations team and Business Architecture/Technology Teams to develop and update tool automation to cover new and existing supporting operational activities
  • Facilitate in the creation of the "day in the life" for impacted Operations team, ensure alignment to support the change impact
  • Liaise with OCM, Communications and other groups supporting the program and Wealth Operations to ensure tactics meet the Operations teams' requirement

  • Solution oriented. Able to develop options, with a focus on resolving issues.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and constantly changing circumstances in a fastpaced environment
  • Highly motivated individual with a proven track record to deliver results
  • Demonstrated experience with large scale initiatives

Specific Educational Requirements:


  • Undergraduate degree is required
  • 35 years of experience in Wealth Management or Operations
  • Strong Knowledge of Wealth Operations is an asset
  • Knowledge of process mapping and process design is an asset
