Maritime Travel Cruise Services located in Halifax is seeking a
Ports Coordinator to join our growing team.

MTCS has been in business since 1962 and operates from all Ports within Atlantic Canada and St. Pierre & Miquelon providing superior tour excursions to cruise lines from around the world.

Enthusiastic and hardworking
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and respond to inquiries promptly.
Exceptional organizational skills
Strong problemsolving skills
Professional, organized, adaptable, ethical, and aims for excellence.
Tour operator work experience
Comfortable working with technology and in particular Microsoft Excel
Bachelor's degree in Tourism or Business an asset

Position reports directly to the General Manager and Responsibilities to include:

Assisting with daily operations in all Ports
Preparing dock sheets
Organizing materials for tour guides
Coordinating with Dock Managers
Maintain venue booking templates.
Updating and maintaining allotments
Assist with tour planning and transportation logistics.
Assist with the development and planning of tours.
Additional duties as required.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and agency information.
Overtime will be required and compensated accordingly.
