Physiotherapy Assistant


Duties:


  • Assist physiotherapists in providing treatment and rehabilitation to patients
  • Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
  • Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities
  • Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
  • Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
  • Administer modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation under the supervision of a physiotherapist
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas

Skills:


  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common musculoskeletal conditions
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a healthcare team
  • Previous Education with Certification or Undergraduate degree program in Physiotherapy
