About us
Urban International School (UIS) is a private high school in Toronto inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education in Ontario, Canada.
Over the last decade, we have offered specialized academic courses that are designed for students who wish to pursue higher education in Canada and around the world.
Based on the program students wish to pursue in post-secondary school, UIS prepares a customized study plan that underlies one of our four streams: Engineering, Science/Math, Business, Arts, or College.
Most of our graduates are accepted in prestigious universities such as the University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McGill University, among many other Canadian and international universities.
UIS has a friendly and dedicated team of Ontario-certified teachers who teach courses from Grade 7 to Grade 12 to a diverse student body that includes students from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America.
About the Position
Responsibilities and Duties
Representation of the school in promotional events; such as educational fairs and various agents' events, etc.
Presentation of any school official events such as orientation session, school assembly or any other school events.
Plan, develops, and implements school marketing initiatives to promote our school and program to increase enrolment including develop a youth exchange program with other school in other countries.
Track the progress of marketing plans with each country marketing representatives in Toronto and overseas to ensure all key points are met.
Works in collaboration with the Multimedia Team to develop school marketing materials.
Draft, reviews, edits and pre-approves all school program marketing collateral including website, Youtube, Facebook and Instagram along with Multimedia team.
Coordinate marketing and recruitment by supporting event logistics including invitation, mailing list, handout materials, site management, speakers, visual presentation and follow-up efforts.
Organize and run any short-term programs such as summer camp and CHEP (Canadian high School Experience Program)
Preparing and producing marketing materials for local and overseas clients such as educational agencies, parents, and students when required.
Provide a wide range of student wellness and activity services when needed.
Qualification and Skills
- Speak English and any second languages such as Spanish, or Portuguese.
- Previous knowledge and experience with the educational industry such as private high school, postsecondary institutions, or ESL schools.
- Asset to have a car and a driving license
- Proven goaldriven student service campaigns in both on/offlin
- Recent Graduate is always welcomed for this position.
- Highly ambitious and selfmotivated with a strong sense of teamwork to accomplish goals.
- Be an outgoing, professional, and friendly
- Must be willing to learn and take direction
