Dogtopia is looking for energetic, organized, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team to manage our front desk.

This is a key role within our business and we work hard to deliver top customer service and ensure a great environment for the dogs in our care.


About the Front Desk/ Sales Role:

  • The individual in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business.
  • You are responsible to work with all customers and team members to ensure our customer experience sets the highest standards and satisfaction of our customers.
  • A persuasive teaching style of communication is required to communicate the company's policies, programs and systems.
  • Very socially focused; requires "how can I help you?" attitude.
  • This is a position where guidelines, structure and established policies must be followed fairly closely, while working with and for others.
  • Must maintain a neat and organized front desk area at all times.
  • Greet everyone who walks in and out of Dogtopia.
  • Check pups in and out of daycare using our internal system.
  • Share information about our daycare packages and enrolments with pet parents.
  • This position requires upselling when appropriate.

  • You're fast paced, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • You thrive when you have multiple challenges on your plate.
  • You like meeting new people, you are enthusiastic, and a very strong communicator.

Job Qualifications:


  • Ability to work flexible days and hours, including holidays and weekends.
  • Strong customer service skills, along with being customer tolerant.
  • Ability to make/take calls while still assisting lobby.
  • Must be comfortable with upselling.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week


Salary:
From $15.50 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Weekends as needed

  • Calgary, AB T2G 1H3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
