What you will be doing in the role of Valve Labourer:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Clean valves and valve components using bead blaster, parts washer, and other manual methods
Sweep and clean shop floor
Clean machine tools
Assist valve technicians in valve disassembly, assembly, and testing of valves
Paint and palletize valves
Load and unload trucks with forklift
Yard maintenance
Assist Valve Technicians in field service as required
Enter valve dimensions and details into computer system
Make valve name plates and seal PRV's
Occasional travel to customer sites to support Service Technician team
Prepare products for shipping, arrange pickups, track shipments
Warehouse/inventory tracking using computerbased tools

Knowledge and skills required for the role:

High school diploma required
Technician/Technologist College diploma in related field an asset
Strong organizational and communication skills
Mechanical interest and aptitude
Three (3) years of experience working in an industrial shop or shipping/warehouse environment
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality assurance
Computer literacy
Competent in the use of hand, and power tools
Experience working with forklifts
