Summary Description
The purpose of the Web Travel Sales & Support Specialist, within our Travel Operations team, is to exceed service expectations, develop relationships with both corporate and leisure clients, and process clients' business and leisure travel requests in an accurate and timely manner.
Reporting to the Travel Operations Manager, the Web Travel Sales & Support Specialist will assist with managing web travel clients' bookings, corporate travel requests, and CAANEO employee travel, including existing booking support, new sales, and travel insurance requests.
The Web Travel Sales & Support Specialist is required to be available on-call to address the needs of our clients and may be required to provide after-hours support on a rotational basis for emergency response.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Consistently provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism in a prompt, accurate, and proactive manner
- Process web, corporate, and employee travel bookings according to TICO regulations
- Processing of ticket exchanges and split ticketing, GDS, and other travel technology support
- Working with the Finance department regarding accounts payables and receivables
- Maintaining GDS queues
- Support the Travel Operations Manager, Travel Administrators when required
- Personal development: skills growth to ensure the best customer experience whether for corporate or leisure travel
- Participation in scheduled oncall customer support
- Aid the Executive Assistant when arranging Club Executive and Board travel

Education
- Successful completion of a Travel Agency Certification course from an established and recognized institution
- TICO Certification
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of corporate/web support travel agency experience
- Detail and accuracyoriented, customer focused and problem solver
- Previous experience planning travel for sports teams is an asset
- Strong command of GDS system, Apollo preferred
- Thorough knowledge of both domestic and international ticketing requirements
- Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work in a virtual environment with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work nonconventional hours as required
Requirements:
- As this is a homebased role, reliable internet is required
Compensation:
- Salary: $46,000
