We are currently looking for a qualified member to fill the position of Production Planning & Logistics Specialist as part of our Customer Service and Logistics Department.

We are currently looking for a qualified member to fill the position of Production Planning & Logistics Specialist as part of our Customer Service and Logistics Department.
Responsibilities
- Planning and creating the weekly production schedule, which entails coordinating manufacturing processes and evaluating inventory flow replenishment;
- Balancing operational outputs in production lead time and reducing idle time;
- Analyzing and resolving planning issues to meet the production schedule, inventory and delivery objectives;
- Working with the Customer Service team to address back orders, inventory volume trends and production planning adjustments in an effective manner;
- Completing necessary documentation required for raw material imports/exports and follow up to ensure they were received/shipped accurately and on a timely basis;
- Liaising with suppliers, customs brokers, meat inspection facilities, (CFIA) Canadian Food Inspection Agency inspectors, CBSA and operations team for various issues;
- Managing IREP (Import for Re-Export) and Duty Deferred bank balances;
- Booking outbound export trucks and coordinating loading with warehouse.
- Tracking shipments and troubleshooting logistics issues;
- Overseeing inventory coordination including all intersite transfers and adjustments for multiple sites;
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/ BCOMM;
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills in English, French an asset;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
