Who you areYou have a High School diploma, and an Associates or Bachelors' degree in Architecture (preferred)
You have Design school or NKBA certification (preferred)
You have 3D rendering software experience (preferred)
You have kitchen design or interior design experience
You have sales and customer service experience
You have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance and reliable transportation
You have experience with computer technology (Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and others)
You have excellent English and French (if applicable) verbal and written communication skills
You demonstrate passion for design
You have general construction or remodeling knowledge
You are able and eager to provide each customer with an exceptional experience
You can deliver the most professional, efficient, and highest quality planning support in the industry
You can plan, predict, and anticipate future needs and act proactively

Responsibilities:
The Planning & Installation Consultant provides all Pre-Installation Services.
This position provides kitchen cabinet design services to IKS customers, verifying that all features and benefit options have been reviewed and discussed, and supporting the customer through their whole project all the way to a completed installation.
The Planning & Installation Consultant is responsible for providing world-class customer service and selling the installation contract.Please note that the standard work environment for this position is an indoor home environment and an indoor construction environment.
Provide all Pre-Installation services including but not limited to:- Providing in-home kitchen planning service
- Taking measurements and noting jobsite conditions
- Providing installation price quotes
- Providing online kitchen planning services
- Sell the installation contract to the customer
- Coordinate sending and creating the installation and begin initial scheduling discussions
Read and understand plans and measurements of spaces
Use computer aided planning software to create plans, drawings, diagrams and other visual renderings of space and product layout
Use all systems and technology associated with working in a Planning Center
Develop a detailed knowledge of the various product lines from IKEA for use in working with customers
Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, customers and IKEA
Responsible to meet and exceed productivity and sales conversion goals
Responsible to meet project deadlines
Resolve all first level complaints with respect to Pre-Installation Services
Completing all training requests by Company and performing such training in accordance with requirements of Company
